Dr. A. E. Miller graduated from Case Reserve University, in Cleveland, Ohio in May of 1994. After completing a one year dental resident program in Tampa, Florida, Dr. Miller operated his solo practice in St. Petersburg, Florida for almost ten years. His treatment included comprehensive family and cosmetic dentistry with an increased focus on cosmetic "smile makeovers."
In 2005, Dr. Miller sold his practice with the opportunity to provide dental health care for a non profit hospital in Hana, Maui, a remote area in the Hawaiian Islands. He continued his non-profit work for an additional year in Jacksonville, Florida where he was the Dental Director of a teaching based, state-of-the-art dental clinic. Through his work at the clinic he became invlolved with The Universtiy of Florida Dental School externship program and earned a temporary faculty position by designing a program to implement third and fourth year dental students into his clinic. This program became an academic externship option for the students.
Dr. Miller returned to Pensacola, after having attended the University of West Florida in the late 80's, to reestablish himself in private practice. His focus returned to designing smiles in a way that brings both happiness and beauty to each patient. While some of Dr. Miller's best accomplishments relate to his outstanding cosmetic "smile makeovers," he also spends a great deal of time providing a full range of dental services. Dr. Miller provides treatments including fillings, root canals, extractions, dentures, implant restoration, tooth whitening and just about everything in between. His office provides treatment for ages 1 through 101.
Dr. Miller truly enjoys what he does for a living and it shows. He has made a reputation of being an outstanding dentist as well as one of the most friendly people you could choose to treat your dental needs.
While Dr. Miller is an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys boating, offshore fishing, the beach, and family time, he is also active in his community and various dental groups. Dr. Miller is a member of American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, the Escambia County Dental Association, the Pensacola chapter of the Seattle Study Club, and is a member of the local rotary club.
